Twelve years. Who celebrates 12? It’s an awkward anniversary number… but here we are, still standing, still styling, and still somehow surviving the chaos of hundreds of weddings, thousands of votives, and at least one freezer full of leftover cake and candle wax.
If you know Miss Milly’s, you know we’re family (literally), and this milestone feels like both a miracle and a reason to toast. So instead of writing a polished “look how professional we are” recap, we decided to let you in on a little behind-the-scenes fun with a not-so-serious Q&A.
Because sure, we can deliver jaw-dropping events across Atlanta — but we’re also the kind of people who argue about snacks, steal decor for our own homes, and still can’t get Alexa to play the right playlist.
Here’s a peek inside our lives and warehouse : )

What's your favorite showroom / warehouse memory?
NAT: Easy. Hands down. When some of our most hilarious movers (who are full time gym coaches - shout out Pat and Dexter) surprised us in custom Miss Milly’s shirts…with breakaway pants and bow ties. Iconic.
CINDY: Coming back from a two-week vacation to find the entire warehouse rearranged and looking beautiful.
COURTNEY: I can’t think of my favorite memory, but by far the worst memory was when Cindy went on a two-week vacation and we decided to reorganize the entire warehouse. Never again.
If you weren’t in events, what would you be doing instead?
NATALIE: I actually have a biology degree. I thought about dental school…but then remembered mouths gross me out.
CINDY: Interior design.
COURTNEY: In my dream world I’d just spend all my time with my kids.
What’s your go-to snack during setup or teardown?
P.S. In the past 12 years, Miss Milly's has done more than 4,500 total events!!!
NATALIE: Purple Doritos. Or classic Doritos. Basically, Doritos.
CINDY: Diet Mountain Dew (does that count as a snack?).
COURTNEY: Buffalo chicken dip forever.
What rental piece best describes everyone's personality?
COURTNEY: Champagne wall for mom, Natalie is the Goddess head because she thinks she’s a goddess head, and I…well, I’m still deciding… Something beautiful which is most everything back there : )
NATALIE: I’m the champagne wall, Courtney’s definitely the Goddess head, and Mom would be the champagne bucket we pour all the drinks into - ha!

What’s everyone’s event-day superpower?
CINDY: Mine is…avoiding babysitting the kids. After I’ve loaded the cooler and van, of course.
COURTNEY: Natalie’s the organizer — every detail is precise.
NAT: Courtney runs the team and makes sure all the pretty things land in the right place.
Have you ever taken a Miss Milly’s rental item home and never returned it?
NATALIE: Yes. My favorite table. EVER.
CINDY: Frequently. Honestly, if you’ve complimented something small in my home…it probably came from here. My house is basically a second showroom.
COURTNEY: Guilty. Vases, cross back chairs, you name it.
What was considered a busy weekend then vs. now?
COURTNEY: A single wedding used to mean “booked.” Now it’s 10–12 weddings plus events and parties throughout the week.
CINDY: Two events in a weekend used to be crazy busy. Now? Ten or more is the new normal for what is considered a busy weekend.
NATALIE: Back then? Ten pickups felt overwhelming. Now? A “busy” weekend means 8+ full-service deliveries.
Which event item is the unsung hero?
NATALIE: Votives. They make or break an event. Also bud vases, hurricanes, and don’t forget the dance floor.
COURTNEY: Custom-built walls and features.
CINDY: The black-and-white dance floor. Showstopper.
What’s one piece of advice for couples planning their wedding?
COURTNEY: Prioritize your wow moments — and make them unforgettable.
CINDY: Let us do the heavy lifting. Don’t DIY. It’s a day to celebrate and remember for its beauty.
And finally…who does Cindy complain about at home more?
NATALIE: Courtney, obviously. I can’t imagine she’d ever have anything to complain about with me.
COURTNEY: Natalie. Because I’m her favorite.
CINDY: I don’t complain at home. I complain directly at them.
12 years in. incredibly thankful to do what we love and help other's celebrate their love.
After a dozen years in the events industry, we’re proud to be one of Atlanta’s best (and most fun) rental and floral teams. But more than that, we’re proud of the family we’ve built — both in the warehouse and with every couple who trusts us with their big day.
Here’s to the next twelve hundred years, more champagne walls, more buffalo chicken dip, and a lot more votives. Cheers, friends.
Thanks for trusting us with your events and every referral you send us to help us be a part of more meaningful celebrations and bring beauty into people’s special days.
We’re so thankful to be a par tof so many of your forever days and maybe for our 13th year we’ll see what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have in mind… 13 is someone’s lucky number right???
