A Vivid Love Story, A Vibrant Wedding Day
At Miss Milly’s, we believe your wedding should feel like the most authentic, joyful version of you—and Kay Kay and Beau’s celebration was exactly that. Set at the beautiful White Laurel Estate in Dawsonville, Georgia, this North Georgia wedding was a colorful, energetic, and love-filled experience from beginning to end.
For couples searching for fun wedding design ideas, vibrant rentals, or bold floral inspiration, this is one celebration you’ll want to pin, bookmark, and come back to again and again.
Every detail of Kay Kay and Beau’s wedding radiated joy… just like their love.
A Love Story We Have to Share: From Childhood Beach Days to a Texas Rodeo!
Kay Kay (Kathleen Robinson) and Beau Stuckey’s story began in the summer of 2002 during a beach trip shared by both of their families. They were just kids then, with no idea they’d met their future forever.
Fast forward twenty years. In 2022, both were living in Houston, Texas. Their moms—still close friends—arranged a casual dinner to reconnect. Over a table full of crawfish at BB’s Cajun restaurant, something sparked. Beau saw Kay Kay in a new light. Days later, he took her to the Houston Rodeo for their first official date, and the rest was history.
From long walks and deep talks to rival football games (Roll Tide vs. Geaux Tigers!), Kay Kay and Beau became inseparable. Their families blended seamlessly, and in September 2023, after a sweet summer proposal, she said “yes” to a forever that had been decades in the making.
A Wedding Full of Personality, Color, and Playful Southern Charm
From the very beginning, Kay Kay and Beau set out to create a wedding that felt like a party—a true reflection of their personalities, filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and a lot of color. Guests were encouraged to dress in garden formal attire, and the result was a kaleidoscope of style and joy.
We at Miss Milly’s Wedding Rentals and Design had the time of our lives bringing their vision to life with bright floral arrangements, colorful lounge furniture, and playful textures that transformed the venue into something totally one-of-a-kind.
One of the standout features? A cowboy + cowgirl photo booth backdrop complete with a trunk full of Western hats and props. What started as a fun corner for selfies quickly turned into a scene-stealing highlight of the night. Guests of all ages—moms, groomsmen, even grandma—were swapping hats and striking poses. It was wild, hilarious, and pure joy.
And just when the party seemed like it couldn’t get any better, it did.
And just as the final guests left the dance floor, Kay Kay and Beau shared one of the most memorable moments of the entire day: a private, cinematic last dance.
Just the two of them, alone under the grand floral chandelier that had hung above their reception all night. No crowd. Just a slow dance, a soft song, and the feeling of “we did it.”
The chandelier draped with floral designs set above them like a scene out of a movie, casting light on their twirls, laughter, and a few happy tears. It was the perfect way to close what might go down as the most fun wedding party ever thrown.
To Kay Kay and Beau: thank you for letting us be part of your love story. You reminded us that weddings are about joy. About dancing in cowboy hats, laughing until your cheeks hurt, and savoring every second with the people who matter most.
