Nestled in the foothills of North Georgia, Magnolia Creek Farms has quickly become one of those places. We sat down with the family behind the venue to learn how it started, what makes weddings there so special, and the creative celebrations they’ve had the joy of hosting.

A Family Dream Turned Wedding Destination
What inspired you to create Magnolia Creek Farms, and how has that vision evolved over time?
The idea sparked as a casual post-retirement endeavor for my parents, Beth & Brian, but quickly grew into something that the entire family became a part of.
From the moment we stepped foot on the 172 acre property, we all realized that it was the perfect location for a wedding venue. So, Beth, Brian packed up from the property in the Milton/Alpharetta area and moved up to the tiny town of Adairsville. One by one, each of their kids Danielle, Olivia, and James finished college and joined them on the farm to make our dream wedding venue a reality!
Creating Magnolia Creek Farms wasn’t just about building a space; it was about bringing our family together to build something from the ground up. Despite not being experts in the field initially, we all brought unique perspective & experience to the wedding & event business. And after almost 3 years of spectacular events, we’ve learned to evolve as the business does. We are constantly improving The Venue, the property, to ensure the ultimate experience at Magnolia Creek Farms.
A Venue That Transforms With Every Wedding
From rehearsal dinners under porch lanterns to grand receptions on the dance floor, what event formats or layouts have surprised you with their magic?
One of the most beautiful and unexpected joys of running our family wedding venue is watching how each couple transforms the space into something entirely their own. No matter how many weddings we host, we’re still amazed—every single time—at how the venue takes on a new life with each celebration.
One of the things we’re most proud of is our flexibility. The wedding industry has such a range of styles and we’re happy that we can accommodate exactly what a bride is dreaming about on her wedding day.
Whether it’s a unique ceremony location, elaborate arrangements hanging from the chandeliers, or even a helicopter send-off, we do everything we can to make your event stand out from the rest. It’s so hard to choose, but some of our very favorites have been the ‘Gucci Garden’ themed wedding with the most eclectic florals eventuated with vibrant fruits and candles, VIP soft seating by the dance floor where the bride and groom can truly be a part of the toasts, and a Waffle House food truck for some late night pancakes and hash browns. We were also left completely speechless by the field ceremony with massive white floral arches lining the aisle and lots of stylish soft seating.

And not to be biased, but Magnolia Creek Farms very own Danielle and Jordan got married in October 2023 and completely transformed the venue into a magical fairy forest with whimsical flowers, a handcrafted round arbor out of vines sourced on the property, as well as candelabras sculpted from massive roots.
Even though we built this venue with our hands and hearts, it’s the people who fill it that bring it to life. Watching that transformation, week after week, is one of the greatest honors of what we do. It reminds us that this place isn’t just a backdrop—it’s a living, breathing part of every new beginning, and we feel so grateful to get to be a part of that.
Creating a Full Wedding Weekend Experience
Before diving into the wedding day itself, Magnolia Creek Farms was designed to create something many venues cannot: a full weekend experience where couples and their closest people can slow down and celebrate together. Tell us more.
A massive goal for us is to create an exclusive experience for couples and their loved ones. Almost all of our wedding parties will stay the weekend on the property.
Couples and their wedding party check into our 11,000sq ft farmhouse on Friday, have rehearsal dinner on the property, and wake up on their wedding day already at their venue! This takes the stress of travel out of the event and allows for more fun moments with their loved ones. With weddings, you blink and they’re already finished. We love that we can offer The Farmhouse to couples to extend the happiest day of their lives just a bit longer.
The Farmhouse is truly a game changer for the bride & groom. It sleeps both bridal parties and is packed full of amenities for guests to enjoy inside, and has a large pool area, and par 3 golf hole outside! With 8 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, beautiful decor and ample natural light, it’s the ultimate space to begin your wedding weekend. It is also the location of our stunning bridal suite on the main floor & the groom’s area on the terrace level of the home, making the wedding day as easy as walking down the stairs to get ready for your wedding ceremony!
Our goal is to provide a stress-free, fun event space for couples to create their dream wedding.
